Squeaking?? (Vets?)

So Doris (female syrian) randomly started squeaking and running around her cage but I couldn’t tell whether she was in pain or not. It didn’t last long but it’s very concerning, my first thought was that it’s painful for her to wee. She’s acting totally normal now. I can’t see anything on her that could be causing pain and she doesn’t seem hurt at all. It’s like nothing happened. I feel like she might be drinking more water too, isn’t that a sign of kidney problems?
I think I’ll take her to the vet just to be sure anyway, Bert (male syrian) passed away last week and it’s making me worry about Doris.
She’s 16 months old now so I guess it won’t be long before old age kicks in.
Anyone else had something like this with their hamsters before?

16 months is still quite young really, it's difficult to say what the problem could be but my first thought would be a UTI possibly, if it is that then it can be easily treated with antibiotics.They can also get kidney/bladder stones but that can be treated too. I would take her to the vet if she continues to show symptoms that something is wrong, fingers crossed it's nothing too serious.
