You can give a good pinch of the shrimps each day, they are quite low in fat so you don't need to worry too much about overdoing it.
I'm not entirely sure that the change in food is the cause of the problem, it could be but there could well be another issue too so it might be an idea to see your vet anyway rather than wait but still change the food gradually as you planned to do.
