Should I be concerned about my hamster's weight

I'll also try nuts as treats, I've heard hamsters like dog treats or is that ridiculous?

They only need a tiny amount of veg anyway About 1 cm cubed size I give (doesn't have to be cube shaped that's just an idea of size). Some people do give the odd dog biscuit - personally I stick to hamster chews. Rosewood dandelion ones are popular here, and the antos mini toothbrush chews (which are actually dog chews but they are vegetable based and not biscuits).

Dog treats can work if the ingredients are good(avoid unspecified biproducts and mystery meat such as digest,derivatives,meat and bone meal,biproduct meal,etc along with artificial dyes,artificial flavors,propylene glycol,sulfur dioxide,and if it will be shared with dogs or cats there shouldn't be corn or wheat or relatives/derivatives of corn or wheat although all of this would apply to far more than just dog treats!).Another thing to avoid would be companies with sketchy history or companies that source from China(along with irradiated products).

A lot of owners give their hams a dog biscuit, usually bonio biscuits now & then, not all hams like them but many do enjoy them, it makes a nice treat for them & is good for their teeth if they will chew on them, most go mad for whimzees which are also good for teeth other than that I would just stick to hamster food & treats.
I wouldn't worry too much about the quantity of veg, they rarely if ever eat more than they need so you can give a small piece daily, plenty of variety, just check that none gets stashed away anywhere & remove what hasn't been eaten the next day.
I would still keep a close watch on both her weight & water consumption as she does seem to be drinking a lot.

okay thanks everyone for your help she will get weighed again in two days and if she continues to lose weight I will take her to the vet but hopefully she is just reaching her normal weight.
