Question Concerned about my new hamster. Possible back issues?!

So I just adopted a hamster from someone who previously owned him for 6 months and decided to give him away. I just noticed something, when he runs on his wheel his back is arched. This means he has been running with his back arched on this wheel for 6 months. I read online that it means the wheel is too small and it will cause health issues. If he has been running on too small of a wheel for 6 months does he probably already have spine problems? I'm going to buy him a bigger wheel tomorrow I'm just sad to see his previous owner let him live with such a small wheel for so long...

Poor little fella. He is still quite young so hopefully no lasting damage will have been done. Hopefully you can get him fixed up with a new wheel tomorrow and he will adjust to this quickly. He's very cute

Congratulations on adopting your new hamster. At least now he can have a bigger wheel, where his back is straight whilst running.

Hopefully he gets used to his new wheel quickly. Let's just cross our fingers and hope there is no permanent damage done.
