Re: Hospital cage problems
All sounds good Yes monitoring sounds the way to go for now - it'll either get better or worse or stay the same!

Re: Hospital cage problems
He came out a little earlier because its dark in my room and I had another quick look and everything is still the same. It hasn't got worse again despite running on the wheel last night so I am remaining hopeful that things will get better from now

Re: Hospital cage problems
Yeah he doesn't seem to be letting anything bother him and he is eating and drinking as normal The silent runner arrived today so I am going to put it in tonight. I have noticed that there is a bit of a gap in the wheel when we put it together. At the moment it is tiny like a couple of mm at maximum. Will this be ok? Also my dad put a bit of tape (I think its duct tape on the outside of it to hold it closer together. We are going to take it off and hopefully the gap won't get any bigger but if it does, would it be safe to put the tape back on? I don't want to leave it there if it will be toxic to Tilly.

Re: Hospital cage problems
I had this when I first put the silent runner together and the manufacturers told me I hadn't put it together properly. Is the gap either side of the little plastic joining strip that connects the running surface strip? The thing to do is press the front and back panels together really firmly and that gap disappears I hadn't pressed mine on firmly enough. The first time it's a fiddle but gets quicker and easier each time you do it.

Re: Hospital cage problems
Glad to hear that! Easy when you know how but the instructions aren't very clear.
