Swollen eye?
My Syrian hamster seemed to have a problem with his right eye, it was only half opened. This happened one night and after he ran around the house for an hour, his right eye was fully opened like usual. Should I be concerned?

This is nothing to be concerned about It's quite common for hamsters to get sticky eye, Peanut and my other hams have had this before. You just need a cotton bud and make it damp with some water to help reopen the eye.

Re: Swollen eye?
As mentioned above, this is perfectly normal. Especially after a hamster first wakes up. You don't even need to dampen a cloth and wipe it as long as it clears up not long after he wakes up Best wishes
