Re: Hamster rolling/flipping?
The stroke itself is over, the symptoms are the effects the stroke had on the body. Those might get better over time depending on how fit your hamster still is.
The vet can hopefully help him and tell you what is actually wrong with him, because we can only guess based on your information.
The best of luck!

Re: Hamster rolling/flipping?
Buddy was pts at the vets yesterday. Heartbroken but it was for the best, very unfair to try and keep him alive in that state.
Thank you for all your advice.

Re: Hamster rolling/flipping?
I'm so sorry Scrubby, you did the best for him & he's at peace now but I'm sure he will be missed very much, forever in your heart.
Run free & play well at the bridge Buddy.

Re: Hamster rolling/flipping?
Sorry to hear about Buddy. He must have been so distressed not being able to control his movement. It must have been awful for you, and I hope you feel better soon

Re: Hamster rolling/flipping?
I am so sorry that you had to go through this, but now Buddy is no longer in any pain. You did the very best for him, and Buddy knows it. He is at peace and playing at that Rainbow Bridge. RIP, Buddy! Hugs to you, Scrubby.
