I'd maybe ring the vet just to check if you are worried. Hopefully it is the wound healing over and the tissue knitting together. Good to hear he is still doing well.

I agree with Souffle, it's normal to worry, when your little one has been through surgery. Your vet will be able to answer any questions you may have.

Took Ginger back to the vet today, his stitches did come out but the vet said he is healing without them and to just clean it with salt water. Overall, he put on a bit of weight and is doing really well.

Update on Ginger: He is doing amazing!! He has now fully recovered and is in the best shape he has been for a while! I have attached some pictures of him as he was being a bit better behaved and allowed me to haha. Still going strong!

I've just read through this thread for the first time. Wow. After reading the first page I figured he wouldn't make it but then I noticed there was 7 pages.. what a recovery! Huge credit to you and your vet and what a brave little fella you have there!
