Default Blood on roborovski's tail

My little Fairy who will be two years old in September has got blood on her tail.

She is being perfectly active and eating and drinking but I saw a few spots of blood on some loo roll that I gave her to expand her nest and her tail looks red.

Will take her to the vet tomorrow. She has never been handled (she always fled from my hand before I could get it anywhere near her). How will they look at her?

I did consider bringing a jam jar ... I am worried that it will be stressful for her.

Will ring them first for advice. What would you do?

Exotic vet??? They would know immediately & not drop her. Mason jar wouldn't have any ventilation. Maybe a empty coffee plastic container with holes cut out or small pet carrier. You could take everything out of her cage till you can get ahold of her good.

Forgot to say that I hope Fairy is able to be treated. When Latte died she had blood on her lower back but she was chewing at it so I had to take her in that night.

Fingers crossed that fairy is alright. The vets would be the best option. Even if she is wild, they'll find a way. Hope it's nothing serious

It honestly wouldn't surprise me if it's not serious at all,but that peace of mind is always good!It could be something very minor and easy to correct though, for example sharp objects(including those you wouldn't expect like hidden bits of hay in substrate or wood etc)so definitely have a look as good as you can when you get a chance if you haven't already

Phone up in advance and let them know she's never been handled by you and you're worried about her getting stressed.
I've got my fingers crossed for your little fairy xxx

Hope all goes well at the vet FF & it's nothing too serious.
The vet should know how to handle & examine her, it may be stressful for her but far better to be safe & get her checked out.
Keep us posted.

Hope everything is ok! If the vet is competent they should know what to do, so don’t worry. Just tell them before they try to handle her that she is not used to it.
