Help! Can a syrian hamsters sent dot bleed?
Hi i dont know what the scent thing is kalled but my hamsters fur seems weet in that area. Does not look like blood and he didn't seem nervous when i moved the fur to look. Is this normal?? Only on one side

The scent gland can sometimes look wet, but it is normal and nothing to worry about. He may be using one side more than the other. Which could be why only one side looks wet.
The wet look is the oil/scent coming from the scent gland.

Omg thank you. Almost had an heart attack had not seen this in any info what so ever. So the photos look normal?

That all looks pretty normal to me, our previous Hammy "Forrest" his scent glands would often be damp with scent oils, nothing to worry about..

That's completely normal. Scent glands can become oily when they're obsessively marking things. They can also look wet if they've just groomed it. Either way, it's perfectly normal
