Nutmeg has a tumour :(

Dear all,

Last week I went to the vets with Nutmeg to make sure everything was ok with her because I suspected an internal issue because of an arched back, stuck out legs and general pain. Gladly everything is fine with her internally and she according to the vets is very healthy internally

The bad news is that unfortunately she has the very early stages of a tumour on her right foot, this means that, yes, it can be eased but not prevented, she is now on metacam that is to be given with her food and I have placed her onto a high fibre and protein diet with added mealworms and porridge oats and I have seen a great improvement on her skin and mobility!

The worst thing for her is that by the vets instructions she cannot have her wheel anymore! She loved her wheel! She is allowed a flying saucer wheel although she doesn't use this a lot

Has anybody had experience like this and have any tips on caring?
