Handling hams

I'm planning on getting a Syrian in the next week or two and I currently have a dwarf, I was wondering about how to go about handling them both, like one after the other.
I'm planning on sticking to my schedule with my dwarf but will the other hamsters smell on me worry or stress each hamster out if that makes sense?
Like for example my dwarf likes to climb on my lap, will his smell bother the Syrian when I handle him/her and visa verser? Obviously I'll wash my hands but my clothes will be the same?
Sorry I know it sounds dumb but I've never had two hams at the same time before.

Each ham is different & females can be a bit more fussy about the scent of other hams than males, most are fine though, I have four hams & none seem bothered by the scent of the others on my clothes, just curious.
I did have a female Russian who would just bite if she smelt another ham though so you'll just have to see how they get on.
