I wouldn't worry, if the weather gets really warm when the plant is in flower the scent could get quite strong which might be a bit much but you could always just take it out of the way when she's out of the cage.

She's a rather chilled out hammy. I mean she's typical dwarf in her antics but things like cage changing, cleaning, stuff like that doesn't bother her. She's a little odd ball.
