Default Lizards an issue?

There's this small lizard in my house that's been scurrying around and I've encountered it about 3 times now just going about my daily life. Once in the kitchen, another time behind a bowl of food on the dining table and the third behind my hamster cage. It's been around a while and I've been worrying whether lizards see hamsters as food/competition. I don't mind if the lizard is just around and minding it's own business eating the flies at night but I'll be hunting it down like a mad serial killer if it decides to hurt my hammie. Did anybody have a similar problem as this and should I be worried about it?
