Hibernating, or... ?
Uschi was a baby when we got her in September(Pretty sure it was Sep.), and since then she has seemed perfectly healthy. Just earlier today, a few hours ago, she was running on her wheel, but now I am worried.
I found her sleeping in a spot she does not sleep. Uschi has never let me hold her, she she is not a heavy sleeper and usually wakes up pretty quickly, but right now she is sleeping very heavily, with her eyes half way open. Her breathing seems to be small, with occasional large breaths. And her legs paddle every few minutes.
She had fresh water and she had fresh food available. The weather has been nice and warm, summery. I have kept a fan on, but facing away from her tank, so the room was cool(as opposed to melting) but she did not have wind. As far as I could tell, she was calm and there was nothing to stress her out the past few days.
Currently I have put her in her little plastic travel tank, I have left her with food and with water. It is easier to monitor her in the smaller tank with better visibility to my baby inside, and the travel tank has better ventilation than the large tank. She has a heat source to keep her warm, because she seemed cold, it is set to low so she will not get too hot.
Any ideas on what could be going on?

Re: Hibernating, or... ?
It seems highly unlikely that this would be torpor (they don't actually hibernate) unless the room had become very cold which seems unlikely from what you said but she does sound unwell, if she doesn't go back to her normal self very soon I would take her to your vet.

Her breathing is now entirely gasping, I am so sure she is leaving now, and there is nothing I can do... My poor baby.
She is gone. It happened too quickly for me to be able to help her, at least I could make her comfortable. It was so quick, taking less than an hour. At least it was quick.

Re: Hibernating, or... ?
I'm so sorry, it's such a shock when something like this happens so suddenly, try to take comfort knowing it was quick & she didn't suffer for long.
She's at peace now.
Hope you're ok.
