Poorly Toff

Hello,

I have a robo hamster called Toff and she's 2 years old. The past couple of days she's suddenly gone down hill. She's not very active at all any more and has just been curled up most of the time under her water dispenser.. not actually going into her bed to sleep.

Her eyes are not very wide at all but I can't see any crustiness or anything. Her breathing looks quite rapid too..

She still has an appetite and will go to her food bowel though she looks as though it's a real effort..

I know it doesn't sounds good and I suppose she is an old lady in robo terms but thought I'd try my luck and see if there is anything anyone can suggest?

Hello, sorry your little one is doing poorly

She may be nearing her end. I'd keep her warm and comfortable to keep the stress down as best you can. If you could, a vet consultation may be a worthwhile course of action. Hope she is alright X

Sorry to hear about Toff being unwell, she is a good age now so it may just be that she's slowing down & possibly coming to her time, as it's been quite sudden it may not just be age so it could be worth getting your vet to have a look at her.
Keep her comfortable & make sure her food & water are within easy reach now, you may want to rearrange the cage a bit to make things easier for her.
