Posture
Wasabi is hunching over her food...is this normal for a female, cinnamon, banded, long-haired, Syrian hamster?

Re: Posture
Do you have a picture or a video? Does she display any worrying symptoms? Sometimes a hamster who is hunched over can indicate they're in pain, but bending over food can also be a Norma behavior. A picture would really help

Re: Posture
I have pictures and a video but I am still kind of new to Hamster Central and don't know how to get them attached to the reply.

Re: Posture
Vids you need to upload to Youtube then post the link here.
Photos you can upload using the go advanced button below the reply box, go to manage attachments & a pop up window will allow you to select & upload.
You can then use the little paper clip icon to add your picture to the post or just leave it to appear as a thumbnail in the post.
Alternatively upload photos to somewhere like Photobucket & post the link here.
You may need to resize your photos before uploading.

Re: Posture
Is it normal for her heart to beat really fast when she does this bending over thing?

Re: Posture
It's hard to tell anything much from that photo of her as it looks like she's moving, if you can upload a video to youtube then post a link here it would probably be easier to tell.

Re: Posture
If she's been continuing this behavior for such a long period of time, and she overall seems fine, then I wouldn't worry about it in all honesty. It's unlikely it's an issue as a hamster will usually deteriorate quickly if they're sick. Like cypher said though, a video can help us put your mind at rest

Re: Posture
I can't really do videos because my mom doesn't want me to have a YouTube account so I can't do videos. I tried to put a picture but it came out kinda blurry.
