Default I think my hamster had a seizure

My hamster Gizmo is a almost 1 year old female Campbell's Russian dwarf hamster. She rolled on her back, thrashed around before she just suddenly stopped moving on her back. I took her out of her cage and laid her on a soft blanket on my bed. She has repeated this action 4 times sense that first time in about 30 min. HELP!!

Update:
I took her to the vet and she passed away they said it was neurological and there was nothing we could have done.

This does sound very like a seizure though I have never seen a hamster take one myself, not sure what others on here would think? Is she a hybrid dwarf do you know? as hybrids are more prone to neurological disorders. I would advise that you take her to the vet ASAP to get her checked out. But keep a close eye and monitor how often this is happening to her so you can tell the vet. Has this only started recently? And how is she after each episode? Hope you get sorted as it is worrying for you and horrible to watch I am sure

I'm so sorry you have to experience this It does sound like a seizure or some other form of neurological issue. As said above you should really take her to the vet ASAP so they can sort it out. Has she suffered any blunt force trauma as of recently? Was she dropped from a height or has she perhaps fallen from a shelf? Seizures are caused by numerous different things, from an excess in certain hormones, to strokes, and also from neurological/nervous system damage. I hope she feels better soon, good luck at the vet

To find out for sure, she needs to see a vet asap.
Write her seizures down, how long they last, how often, this will help the vet.

I'm sorry to hear your hamster passed away at the vet. I'm closing this thread, but please do post a thread in the memorial section for your girl if you wish.
