Exclamation Someone please help: Hamster stroke!!1

Yesterday morning my hamster was perfectly fine! He was drinking, eating, you know, all the normal things hamsters do! Then at about 9/10 at night I noticed I didn't hear any noise coming from his cage because usually he is playing. So I took him out to see if he was ok. But right when I took him out I knew something was wrong. He didnt look right at all!!! His eyes were closed shut and a bit crusty. I had to take a wet cotton swab and wipe them so I could pry them open. After I did that they opened up a bit, but he still didnt look like his normal self. So I put him on the floor to see what he would do. He started going in circles, twitching, and falling over. He knows what he is doing, but he is shaking so much and hes unbalanced that I have to help him or he'll fall over on his side or back. He also keeps like shaking his head, tilting it and I am scared that he is in pain. However, I read a hamster stroke does not cause pain, it only causes stress. He is drinking and eating and whenever I notice him trying to get a drink, I have to hold him so he doesnt fall on his side. Not only that, but he has like hard poop stuck in his anus. I tried taking it out, but it wont work. Im afraid he also might be constipated. Does anyone know how to help him recover from his stroke and any remedies to help with constipation? Someone plz help Is there medicine I can buy in a pet shop or can I use home remedies to help him poop? Right now he is sleeping.

He really needs to see a vet. Is this possible at all. He won't be constipated - it will be that if he has had a stroke then he will not have been able to drink and eat probably or worse the bowel function is affected by the stroke so things stop moving along.. He will do better with a low bowl of water or even better wet food to lick up. Try watery porridge or babyfood. Keep offering it to him on a spoon and also offer the bottle spout for him to lick.
If it is a stroke they can recover but it does depend on what is affected. If the bowel and bladder control has been affected and he cannot wee or poop then that is very serious obviously.
Sometimes a vet can prescribe and anti-inflammatory like metacam which can help recovery. Other things it can be are injuries (does he climb?) or ear infections or even tumours in the brain. Don't fuss to much with his eyes but do try and keep him clean. Is he bloaty in the tummy? Don't give any constipation things as these can really harm him and cause gas and make him ill. You can offer a little cucumber for water as well.
In essence get him to a vet asap and I hope they can help. x

If he is constipated he won't live more than a day or two. I'd try to get him to a vet as soon as you can if you are able. Sorry this is happening. If he seems to be getting on than he isn't constipated. Hope this helps

I hope you take your little one to the vet, the sooner the better.

Thank you everyone for the help!! I really appreciate it! I'm glad to say that teddy is in fact, getting better! I gave him veggies and a drop of olive oil to help the constipation and thankfully it worked and he is now using the bathroom! He is also eating and drinking from the bottle on his own! As for the falling, he isn't doing it as much and it is a lot less than before. He has also stopped circling and he's slowly learning to walk straight. I am so relieved Again, thank you so much for the help

G;ad to hear is is starting to come round now. The first 24 hrs after a stroke are critical and usually if a hammy survives the 24hrs then they do tend to recover. Some will make a full recovery back to normal and some will have a small weakness left like maybe a limp or crooked face. It's good that he still has his bowel and bladder function unaffected though. I hope he continues to get better
