Drago thanks, she won't get tamed with seeds. But she will get TLC. Everybody is sanitized, well close, lol

I personally would not recommend giving any raw meat to hamsters, though it may have benefits, there are way too many risks with it. I don't even give my dogs raw meat and they have digestive systems built for it! Raw meat can carry things like salmonella, E. coli, and other nasty parasites, viruses, and bacteria which is a health concern for both you and your hamsters. You could however, cook up some chicken and such for little Ivy Rose, I'm sure she'd appreciate the treat as well!

Cooked chicken or occasional egg sounds good

Salmonella doesn't tend to effect dogs That's a whole separate issue. The most important part of raw meat is to simply take appropriate hygiene precautions in order to keep everything sterile and safe, both for humans and dogs.

Cooked chicken as mentioned can definitely be an option, but freeze dried chicken is the next best thing to raw meat and is at least less processed than cooked foods would be.

You could still use freeze dried in some homemade hamster treats though, for example using freeze dried chicken with some sort of grain and vegetable added.Freeze dried chicken(hand shredded, very easy to do),boiled brown rice(regular variety not quick cooking or instant),and some sort of fresh vegetable extra would be a great treat that if made in a diabetes friendly way is excellent even for diabetic hamsters!
