Also know that you are testing for any high levels of glucose in the urine, which indicates diabetes. I once thought I was testing for diabetes but your looking to see if the glucose is changing colors according to the color chart or not?

I don't know if it's slightly high, medium high or very high. If it tells you how sick your hammy might be?

That's awesome but check again, maybe 2 more times at different times of the day as blood sugar fluctuates every hour I believe, according to one vet here. But my past & current ham (Sylvester) tested normal but on the 2,3 & 4th try he was on the olive green color next to the brown colors on the bottle.

One time he tested brown but that was from contaminated bedding, maybe so I get clean samples now. It's especially nice that he likes to pee in his nesting area. So I remove tissue & clean his tray & in the morning there is 1 or 2 puddles.

Definitely check at least one more time, especially since you have a whole bottle now lol

Hope you don't need the bottle anymore but it's good to test as they age too.
