Question Linking one spot on side bald

It looks like he is kicking himself bald on one side close to the top of his back leg. It doesn't seem to hurt him but I don't know why he would do that, or if I should be worried.

How big is the bald patch? Are you sure it's not just his scent gland which can look wet sometimes?

Oh. That could be it. It is small. It just looks wet sometimes and I was starting to get nervous. My other hamster was long haired so I never noticed a spot on him.

I would say that he was cleaning himself but looked as if he was kicking himself and it is a male hamster and they do have very noticable scent glands. i think you should look up what hamster scent glands look like and see is the bald spot that
