My hamster hasn't eaten

I went on holiday for about 4 days and sadly I couldn't take my hamsters with me I had to leave them home today was my last day there I came home on the drive back I was so excited to see my babies to see how much more chubbier they got however when I got home and looked into Ian's cage he looked different he looked thin I picked him up and he felt lighter than he did when I left my grandmother was looking after them while I was away he had plenty of food and water too I'm not sure what happened I don't know if he stopped eating because he missed me or he wasn't getting taken out and being played with cause I take him out daily near night time when he wakes up around 7 p.m he usually sits by the front of the cage till I take him out I don't know if he stopped eating cause he felt neglected or what I'm not sure whats wrong with him help please

Did you know his weight before you went away?
Try something like scrambled egg or porridge and see if he eats that. You may need to take him for a checkup at the vet.

No I didn't know his weight before but I could feel how chubby he was when I picked him up he has a bit of weight on him now he feels much lighter and I can't feel any weight on him at all but thanks I will try that out hopefully it works and he gains a bit of weight back he seems much happier than he did the first day I came back he's eating his food again I made sure I supervised him when he woke up I gave him a bit of kale spinach and carrots I will give him the scrambled eggs and porridge though
