Default Very sweaty.....

I'm quite worried about Jed. He's a bit red around his peephole and is very very sweaty....even around his face. Once he's washed and groomed he looks fine....but he's not very lively and is spending less time out in the evenings. He's only 6 months old. 😕

You mention peephole LJ - which part do you mean? It is his penis area?
Hamsters can get penile infections or urine infections can also cause soreness in that area.
Hamsters don't sweat as they don't have sweat glands but a hamster who isn't feeling well can get ruffled and greasy looking through not grooming. May sure he has a nice airy nest house with tissue bedding and even a sand bath to roll in.
If you think he may have an issue down in his penis region then definitely see a vet as this can be treated.

It does sound like there is something bothering him if you have noticed a change in behavior. Is he peeing OK and drinking enough. Check the bottle is working well and give him some cucumber as well to make sure he is hydrated.
Even if the vet says he is fine then better to have been safe and had him checked
