I am so sorry! I've been through this with one of my hamsters in the past he had a lump in his pouch which was stopping him from eating properly. It's the toughest decision to make but you know whats right for your little pal. At least you know that he isn't suffering now.

So sorry to hear about the outcome. You done your very best. Had you not gone ahead and just left him, he'd have been in a lot more pain.
