I am so sorry! I've been through this with one of my hamsters in the past he had a lump in his pouch which was stopping him from eating properly. It's the toughest decision to make but you know whats right for your little pal. At least you know that he isn't suffering now.

So sorry to hear about the outcome. You done your very best. Had you not gone ahead and just left him, he'd have been in a lot more pain.

Oh Cookie I'm so sorry, I just stumbled across this thread. It's awful to hear that he didn't make it but he held out until the end and you did what was kindest for him xx
