Default Ringworm?

Is it possible that my Hugo may have ringworm?

He has no hairloss, but he has pale yellow painful looking scabs on his testicles, belly button (if they have one?) back legs, front legs and tail. His nose is looking sore and it looks to be getting worse. It was on his ears too, but cleared up with some anti-fungal cream called Canesten or something like that (humans use it)

I know that ringworm is very contagious though, so if he did have it, then surely Flump and the other hamsters/animals would have caught it by now? I have no idea whats wrong with him and haven't really found all that much about fungal infections in hamsters. However, I have come across some rather gross photos of what looks like something he has, only a lot worse and its disgusting...

I've parted his fur and tried looking at his skin on his back, neck and rump, but his skin underneath fur looks fine. Its just skin with no fur on, or just a very thin amount (legs and tail) have been infected with scabs and dryness.

I tried to get a photo of his legs but he's not having any of it and I have no one here at the moment to help me hold him while I get a photo.

For those of you who have been following his thread, you will know what his ears and nose have looked like. Now his nose looks like this, which to me, looks a lot worse than when I last took photos of him (week ago?) I really don't think its barchewing that causing the irritation round it now...

It looks a little like a skin infection but if anti fungal cream worked it must be a fungal infection. Ringworm is very contagious and if you've been handling him Id expect you to have gotten it. The best thing to do is take him to the vet and they need to diagnose it to work out treatment. It could have started as one thing and developed into a skin infection for example. Def working getting it checked

I agree it's probably a fungal infection still & unlikely to be ringworm, it did look fungal to begin with & as the cream seemed to help I would imagine he'll need more of the same or perhaps a different cream now, are you still thinking about going to the PDSA?
