Chloe Is In Heat...

So I've had my sweet lil chloe almost a month now (Got her April 20) and I realized today that she is in heat, I'm not sure if this is the first time, I think it might be but I bought her from a pet store so iiii dunno how old she is exactly. I was just wondering if there were any extra tidbits of info anyone could give me, I don't know how long this usually lasts for hamsters or how often it happens either. Any info is much appreciated! Syrian hamsters come into heat every three or four days, you may notice a musty smell coming from her and there is usually a very small amount of discharge which is normal.

I really feel for female hams - in heat every 4 days. Sometimes you might not smell her, with Twinkle it was sometimes really noticeable.

I've noticed that smell varies form hamster to hamster - my previous female Syrian barely smelled all but Willow's smell is quite noticeable
