Yesterday we noticed that one of
Harriet's eyes had blood inside it. She was still eating, drinking and seemed perfectly fine so did not seem in pain but obviously we took her to the vet first thing. She was very good and let the vet look in her eye with his opthalmascope and he could clearly see she has had a bleed into the eye. There does not seem to be any injury so he thinks it must just have occurred spontaeneously. It is not glaucoma which we were worried about as the eye is only very slighty enlarged. It just looks so red. She has steroid drops 4 times a day and he hopes it will gradually resolve.
