Did you try the play pen or play bin idea we talked about before, with familiar toys & maybe some substrate to dig around in?
I still think just putting her on the bed is probably a bit too stressful for her.

As for how long she should be out, begin with really short periods & gradually increase it as she becomes more comfortable with it.

How can you tell what she likes? All she did was hide under my blanket next to my leg and fall asleep

If she is hiding rather than exploring she is not enjoying being out. They will sleep when they are tired either inside the cage or outside the cage. You can put them back into the cage to sleep or let them sleep outside the cage snuggled in your sleeve etc.

Often a hamster will wait by the cage door when wanting to come out, so when you put it back in the cage it may show it wants to come back out by doing this.

Sometimes when I put her back inside she runs to the glass like she tries to climb it

I think she tries to explore. I constantly catch her trying to jump off my bed. She did it once and ran around. I wasn't sure if it was okay I let her do that. So I moved her back to bed

Trying to climb the glass could be a sign she would like to come out again.

Jumping off the bed could be because she was startled/scared by something or her desire to explore.

I wouldn't let her explore the floor without some way of controlling where she goes as she may get under or behind furniture and chew electric wires.

A playpen bought or made can be useful.

Having toys on the bed may help as it gives her something to do/explore.

So I brought out a few toys. And she immediately ran to her wheel and started running. She also was running around my bed exploring. Lol sometimes I worry she might go flying off her saucer

It sound like she is having fun. I have seen lots of hamsters fly/fall off the saucers. They also look to be running at a awkward angle, so I prefer wheels.

I had a saucer and wheel. She completely ignored the wheel and only used the saucer. No idea why.

She may just find the saucer easier to use.
