Default Nail care?

My little hams nails are starting to get really long and I'm not at the stage where I can pick her up yet to cut her nails. How do I keep them short?

Default Re: Nail care?

You can use rough surfaces in the cage like tiles upside down or granite tiles, small rocks that are rough but not sharp & the use of a sand bath can also help to keep nails trim when they dig, even natural wood items with bark can help a little.
Those can help prevent them getting too long but once they are over grown they do need to be trimmed, a vet can do that for you if you can't do it yourself.
