Hamster has scabs and crust around mouth?????

Yesterday I know he didn't have anything around his mouth so it happened overnight. But there are like 4 little scabs around his mouth and when I touch around his mouth it's kinda crusty. What's going on? Is this good or bad?

Is he housed alone? Is there anything sharp in the cage?

Yes he's housed alone, and there doesn't appear to be anything sharp, this is really making me sad!

I think I'm going to just take him to the vet to get an all around check up, worried mama here

I would take him to a good exotic vet. They will be able to help you more than anyone here could.

The first one is called the animal medical center.
This is the Bush Animal Clinic is closer to you, I only have yelp reviews on this one though.
