Default Gladys had a fall

Hi there,

My dear robo Gladys had a fall this evening during play time. She was on my shoulder when fell onto the floor. When hit the floor she did squeak.
She seems to be ok, she was scurrying around her cage. But she's in her tube at the moment just very quietly nibbling on a seed. I'm guessing that she might be ok.
I just wanted to check in.

Thank you!
Love Polly

You must've got quite a fright, it seems Gladys has been lucky but, keep an eye on her over the next couple of days.
Glad she's ok.

It does sound as though she's fine, it probably gave you as much of a fright as her! As Lizzy says just keep an eye on her to be sure but I doubt you have anything to worry about.
She looks very cute hiding away in her tube there!

Thank you Lizzy and Cypher. It really did give me a shock too, I will keep an eye on her that's for sure. I went to look in on her this morning and she's a sleep in her strawberry house

A lucky escape, but as the others have said, watch for any delayed signs of internal injuries. If she`s not lame or feeling anything, that`s good. Just a wee tip though, robos are easily injured just because they are fast and unpredictable, so I never took my robos out of their cages, just interacted with them while spot cleaning. If the cage and wheel are an adequate size, there is no real need to allow a robo free range, although it`s fine to do so IF the play pen is safe and solid and the robo is removed from it`s cage using a jar where you can secure the top while transporting the robo.

Glad she`s fine though. x

Well I haven't really seen her today, though I've seen movement coming from her strawberry house.
When I do get her out I use her ball to scoop her up in, she loves her ball!

Thank you for your help, I'm very grateful.

Love Polly xxxx

Hello Polly444. Robos are so very fast. I'm sure you had an adrenaline spike when Gladys fell. When I have any dwarf out I do it in either the bathtub or a playpen. When they are nice and tame, they join me on the bed or the couch; nice soft spaces should they fall.
I also transport them in a container of some kind.
But she sounds like she took no lasting harm. Love to see photos of you wee ham.
