Re: Is it time?
I am so sorry. It's always a tough desicion for everybody. How old is she? Maybe you could take her to a vet for a check-in. The vet could give you a good idea of how long little Jocardi has left.

Re: Is it time?
We will have to take her back this week for more pain relief....or at least call for more meds. She's only popping out for quick drinks and to use the potty. Tonight I offered her porridge ... she popped her head out and ate it....but wouldn't leave her bed

Re: Is it time?
The shake is quite obvious there but from what I can see it doesn't appear to be distressing her too much.
I know how hard this is not knowing what each day will bring but hang in there, I'm sure she knows how much you care for her & appreciates all you do even if she's not up for coming out & cuddles.

Re: Is it time?
Short footage in the video but to my eyes, she`s looking well? Her eyes are bright, when she walks into the pot her breathing seems in line with her sniffing at something (not laboured) and she looks (to my eyes) as though she`s not too bad at all. Weight looks okay too. I see she`s in a glass tank? Has she always lived in this or was it a recent change? Try not to do full cage cleans also as fresh shavings can smell strong. Better to keep things around her familiar. But yes, she`s looking okay to me. You are seeing her all the time though so you will notice things we may not be seeing, but from the footage, I don`t see anything that sais she`s ill or needs put to sleep. She looks better than some hamsters I`ve seen that are very poorly, so that should be good news. x
