I've been through this too. Apple & Blossom are sisters & lived together until they were 6 months old. Once fighting starts sadly there is no going back. Even though it's hard you have made the right decision.
Separate cages and separate toys from now on. Once they've been seperated they need to stay that way. You'll find the one that was bullied and hurt will become more confident over time.
