Just noticed one of my dwarfs has a lump on his back leg. Please see picture. He seems his usual self and eats and drink as normal.

Thanks in advance.

I'm not quite sure on this one I mean it doesn't look much like a tumour. Judging by the fact he is acting normal could he have maybe hurt himself some how then it swelled? If u have any concern please consult a vet. I mean the quicker you do it the quicker the problem is solved.

It is very hard to see from the photo what it may be, even though he seems fine in himself right now I would still get a vet to have a look .

I would agree about letting a vet see it to give you a better prognosis as it may be a cyst or something more invasive. But these things do tend to grow and become painful sometimes. It may not, but rather than allow it to grow, lumps are always better given a once over by a vet in case they say just leave it alone. It looks to be near the hock joint (elbow joint) on the back leg? It could be infection or a pressure sore, although pressure sores are usually seen in older animals that are kept on hard surfaces. x
