my hamster is trying to chew off her leg!

Although i'm a first time hamster owner, it is so hard not to fall in love with them ^^ I am about to apply the ointment on her leg but she seems to want to explore my desk so i'll let her play a little before doing so. I will keep you updated on her condition and I cant thank you enough for all the support, it was definitely worth joining the hamster central! (:

I'm glad to announce Yui is recovering! She has already regained most of her weight and seems as active and happy as she was before the accident! She is still sleeping in her temporary cage and she'll remain there for another week or until i'm sure she's well enough to go back into her usual cage, however she runs around and plays (under my supervision) in a playground i've set up in my bedroom, along with my other hamster so she wont get bored (:
