Default just old age?

My robo is roughly just over 2 years old, when I checked on him tonight I noticed he is very skinny and not as fast as he used to be.
I've had a few things going on recently so havnt been able to watch him as much as I used to but I'm just wondering if its likely to be old age?
He is my first robo so I'm not quite sure, hope people can help - will try and post a photo soon x

Weight loss is normal for nearly every animal in old age. I wouldn't worry if I was you.

Maybe feed him some porridge (made with water, not milk) and a little bit of cheese (not too often) to give him a bit more energy, if you feed him mealworms try cutting down on those a little as old hamsters don't need as much protein as young ones do. I'm sure he's fine and that he looks skinny because he's small in size! x

It's always best to keep a weight record to see how fast they lose weight because it can also be a sign of illness but because he's a little old chap it's most likely his age
