That's great news! The most common advice you will see on that is get as big a cage as you can. Many hamster peeps find themselves replacing a cage for a bigger one several times and they all wish they had just got the biggest to start with! You need lots of floor space rather than levels as hamsters are ground dwellers. Have a look around the forum for ideas and ask any questions you have.

Thank you¬ Yes, I am wishing I did more research than I did. The shop were very good and helpful and insisted that the cage was suitable... Think I'll have to get saving and revamp her little home (for a much bigger one! haha)

I managed to get some better photos of Pepper. She's looking a little smaller tonight. Still looking into bin cages - seem very exciting!

That makes me so happy to hear!
I've been bingewatching hamster care videos for the past week haha. I am looking to get her bin cage made during October half term. I will keep you posted!
