Manky tummy

Has anyone encountered an old hamster with a yellow Manky tum? Boris is 26 months ish and very lively (sleeps a lot) and eating well. Lately his tummy is yellow, I don't know its its wee, sweat or what? What could I clean him Up with? I know I can't get him wet. He's not cleaning it himself.

Could it be his scent gland if he's not cleaning it properly himself?
You could just try bathing it with cotton wool soaked in warm water or saline, just damp enough to wipe him down without making him really wet, as long as there isn't an infection or anything that should be enough.

Ok thanks il try that. Pretty sure nothing wrong with him he's normal in himself. I'm not sure he will appreciate a tummy wipe but I will give it a go x
