Default Yellow Teeth

Our new Syrian hamster Betty has REALLY yellow/orange teeth. So dark compared to the beige-ey colour of our other Syrian Dotty.

Is there anything that causes differing teeth colour?

Default Re: Yellow Teeth

The orangy yellow teeth are quite normal and healthy. The hardest enamel on the outside of the teeth is yellow in a healthy hammy. It can vary with age though and can become softer as a hammy ages.
