Question Safe foods for hamsters

Hi, I am an owner of a Syrian panda bear hamster. She is the most adorable and intelligent hamster i have ever had (I have had four in my lifetime) I just noticed that whenever she smells Peanutbutter ( all natural/ no preservatives or hydrogenated oils) she gets so excited and comes to the area of her cage where she "begs" for food. I sometimes give her little pieces of apple at this particular spot. She really goes crazy over the smell of Peanutbutter and I was wondering if anyone knew if it is ok to let hamsters have a little. I know they are not supposed to eat almonds but I see little pieces of peanuts in her hamster food and was wondering if anyone has ever tried to give their hamster Peanutbutter.

You need to be careful with peanut butter as it's sticky & can cause a problem with their pouches, mine love it too but I just smear a little bit onto some hamster food or veg then scrape most of it off again so they actually get little more than the taste but they still enjoy!
Almonds are fine for hams, the ones out of the shell meant for human consumption that is.
Have you tried monkey nuts (peanuts in the shell) much better for them than peanut butter & getting the nut out keeps them busy too!
