hamster shaking

today, when my hamster was just exploring, playing, digging and doing all his hamstery things, i realized that he was shaking, it was not cold, and he was also quite jumpy and scared... he is tamed and confident around people (climbs straight onto our hand) but today he seemed scared, i dont know what to do.
Because of this I've done a quick health check (looking at him through his hamster ball) and he seems fine... what shall i do?

Does he shake like if he is cold ( I mean does he shiver ) or is he really unsteady and weak kind of shaky on his feet? Does he feel cold or warm to the touch?
What room temperature do you have him in?

he did not seem weak or unsteady, but he is now stopped shivering and is perfectly confident again, thank you katmick!

He might have heard a noise that spooked him, they have excellent hearing, they can hear such quiet noises that we don't.
