Smile repeated behavior?

Thought I'd ask, just in case this is any sign of illness...

Through the past couple of days ( and 5 minutes ago...) My hamster has been showing lots of repeated behaviours, for example : he climbs to his second floor, goes through his hole maze toy thing, under the bridge into the tube leading back down out of the tube and it is repeated for at least 10 minutes. He is probably just playing but maybe this IS something I should worry about.

PS. I thought I knew a lot from my you tube hamster reaserch, but looking at it now... So many questions...

It might just be boredom, Fwirl did something similar when she had her 8" wheel, she stopped as soon as she got her 11" one and was more comfortable running

Like Kryill has said, if you have a wheel it might be too small so try and get a much bigger one!
Also, if you can maybe put some other toy in his cage, give him plenty of hide out places.

I think you said in one of your other posts that your ham is in a temporary small cage so that might explain it, try go give him as much play time out of the cage as you can if that is the case.

Thank you all, big help. In June he will get his big cage, I'm afraid that might be too long but I will give him more play time but he is quite a small Syrian and his wheel is more than big enough for him, thank you.
