Red cheek?

Hi, I've only had him for four days and I'm already frightened. Chibi was clawing at his cage s i thought he wanted attention, I took him out and noticed that his cheek was red, there was also a bald spot behind his ear. What should I do? He is drinking and eating well, he is his usual self, I'm just frightened that I've only had him for so little tie and he's already sick, and if it's my fault or anything

Right when I asked this it went back to normal, I'm keep a close eye on it but it probably was me panicking over every little thing again. I guess 3 months of hamster research wasn't enough . Hopefully it wasn't anything.

Keep an eye on him and the bald spot behind his ear. If it gets bigger then you might have to see a vet.

I'd just keep an eye on him & try to see if he might be rubbing up against anything in the cage that could be a bit rough or sharp, sometimes there can be little things in there that aren't always easy to spot so give the cage a bit of a check over.
