Hamster is extremely ill, very skinny, i fear for her
For the past 2 - 3 weeks i havent been able to get my syrian out as i have been studying for my exams. I did get her out twice or so, all the times i noticed that i could begin to feel her bones again but at the same time her stomach felt big and bulged so i just shrugged it off as her body fat was moving. I also noticed that she wasnt getting up even at 2-3 O'clock. well today i just happened to notice her so off course i ran over to see her. As soon as i made it to here i felt a feeling of dred, her eyes were shut tight, it looked almost as if she had cut them out, i immediately asked for help, i managed to get a cotten bud and over the course of half an hour or so wet her eyes enough so they slowly started to open. Everything was going well until i held her again, her body was so thin, i dont want to say it but she felt as bonny as how my old hamster felt when i found him dead. But her stomach is even bigger. She isnt eating, not even hoarding her food, and she hasnt pood much, i cant take her to the vets as my parents just see it as a waist of money for a hamster. What should i do??
Additional info:
She is around 4 months old

You must see a vet with her. She is obviously very ill and it sounds like either a womb infection, a blockage or a tumour. She may need given rest given her condition but unless she is seen she is going to suffer. Do you have any money of your own? She is a living creature and needs attention. Your parents are responsible for her wellbeing and when they allowed you to have her they accepted this. Please beg them to help

Get her to a vet any way you can! I lost Kovu at 4 months old, I'd only had him 2 weeks so handling wasn't easy so didn't notice much (still feel guilty) but I found him hanging out of his bed and picked him up. He was long hair so thought he was a good size but on feeling him he was skin and bone with a huge rock hard belly. He died 45 mins later.
PLEASE PLEASE take her to a vet! Whatever way you can, a bus or a relative! Explain to your parents! 3 years ago my mum thought an alaska was a ridiculous size now she agrees bigger is better for a syrian! She drives me to the vets for anything now, speak to them with seriousness. Hamsters are living creatures, they feel pain. Please go asap!

I don't have anything different to say FinestNoob but I wanted to add weight to what souffle and pixiehollow have said.
You need to go to the vet. Our hamsters depend on us to provide everything for them.
When we are in pain or unwell, we go to the doctors and we are treated to make us better or to make us comfortable.
Your hamster is relying on you to do the same for her. It isn't fair for any animal that we keep to suffer, I hope that you are able to explain to your parents that they need to help your hamster to stop suffering and that means going to the vet to get the right treatment and advice.
Please let us know how you get on, we understand it is difficult.

Re: Hamster is extremely ill, very skinny, i fear for her
This is similar to what happened to my last ham, the vet said cancer and we had her put to sleep straight away as she was clearly in pain. Tumors in rodents are often very fast growing and its cruel to let her suffer.
Please bring your parents in and show them how she so they can see how important it is that she's brought to a vet, or offer to cover the cost of the vet trip yourself through chores or something if that's what they want to hear. I don't want to be very insensitive but it's likely the vet will suggest putting her to sleep and for your parents information it's usually not expensive.
I'm so sorry this has happened to your little one, I was devastated when I lost my wee Butts but I've never had second thoughts about doing what was right for her.

I would get her a vet appointment, most surgeries have an emergency slot in the morning and afternoons.

Hello everyone, thank you all very much for all the help you have given me, I did take my little Sahara to the vets, sadly though there wasnt anything the vets could do and so i had to make the decision of putting her down
