Panda's mum, think positive thoughts, panda's a fighter and he's shown that. You've got our full support.
The vet sounds hopeful, you breaking down at the vet just shows how much you love panda. It's good to cry. I did a few times when Archie was ill and it took 6 weeks for him to recover from a bad bladder infection. Crying lifted that big weight of worry of my shoulders. Also the brilliant support I received on this forum helped me and Archie so much. When there's hope, keep fighting!

It sounds like you have a good vet. A few years ago my parents had a dog that was diagnosed with Cushing's, and he was given a medication called Vetoryl that had recently been approved for dogs. It made a big difference for him. Is this the medication your vet is looking into for Panda? If so, I hope it works just as well for hamsters!
