Latte Update
Thanks to everyone who has wished Latte a speedy recovery! He is on his way. The head tilt will unfortunately be permanent but he is learning to adjust. I am still giving medicines as well as hand feeding and helping him some with his grooming. But he has been learning to scurry around in his new way and has set up his nest in his new place.
He is still so cute, head tilt and all!!

Re: Latte Update
Aww he is special. He may yet recover the body is amazing at sorting itself out. Just over a year ago I found a dog by the side of the road with severe head trauma and resulting paralysis. The only movement she had was to lift her head. I was told "not to get too attached". Right. She is now my 3-legged monster happy and active and completely right in the head all recovered except one leg that never came back. Anyway this is not about me it's just a tale of hope. Latte is wonderful in any event. XX <3

Re: Latte Update
What a great story Piebald! My aunt had a cat that got stuck in a trap. Vet wanted to put it down but in the end they just amputated the leg. He was still the fastest one with only 3

He is doing great! Had a follow up with the vet. We are weaning off meds one by one and he can have a trial in his ball. Still needs some hand feeding until his weight stabilizes but overall everything is great. Head tilt still the same but he is adjusting.
He was like a celebrity at the vet lol. Everyone who helped him when he was so sick last week wanted to see and celebrate how good he is doing. I am thankful to have such a great small animal place nearby!
