Re: There's something wrong with Pumpkin
Charlie's also been doing the crouching creeping thing recently - low to the ground - I was beginning to think it was a game. He's much more active earlier in the evening around 7 or 8pm, but by 10pm he is just dopey - glazed as you say and a bit unresponsive - then he has a nap. I reckon 10pm is his nap time before the night's activities. Anyway as Dr McK says - if you are still worried take him to the vet for a checkover. You don't have to tell your H (my Mother spent years without telling my Dad everything!)

Re: There's something wrong with Pumpkin
Thank you again DrKMcK!
Haha, Serendipity, there are a lot of things I buy and spend money on that I don't tell my husband. Shhhhh! lol It's ok though, as long as I can use a credit card at a vet, I can pay it from some money I have set aside in an account, and then I won't have to hear it from him.
I checked Pumpkin and he's sleeping, as he usually does all day, so that is nothing weird. I gave him some apple and he ate some while half asleep. I'll see how he's doing later on. I bought a variety pack of baby cereal and will give him some of that later too, to make sure he's eating enough.

Re: There's something wrong with Pumpkin
Vets take credit cards.
Good to see from your post, that you're a lot calmer.
I would phone up the vet and make an appointment for Monday.
You're naughty spending money without your hubby knowing lol!
Good for you, it's nice when you have some aside.
I've got my fingers crossed for pumpkin. Stay positive Pumpkin's mom.

Re: There's something wrong with Pumpkin
I just woke up and Pumpkin was sitting in his litter box grooming himself. I put some seeds in his dish, and he walked over and took some out and ate, and drank from his bottle, which is an improvement over the past few days. He looks better too. I won't know if he's improved for sure until I see him running on his wheel, which I didn't see yet.
If he keeps looking better, I may put the vet on hold because I know how terrified he will be. At least I know of 2 good vets to take him to. We'll see. If I still can't get him to wake up before I go to bed next week, I'll have to get him checked.

The fact he's grooming himself is a good sign.

Re: There's something wrong with Pumpkin
He's back on his wheel! He's also up before I went to bed for the first time in days.

Re: There's something wrong with Pumpkin
Great news about pumpkin back on his wheel.
I know I don't need to say it but keep an eye on him.
Maybe he had a couple of off days and didn't want to do much, he sure did stress you out.
Hope you can relax a bit now,
