Re: Difference between broken leg and paralyzed leg
Hi all,
Just to update this topic, my little boy is back on the wheel now, his leg is completely healed! He waited a little over 2weeks to get back on his wheel as the vet advised to remove all the things that could cause him to put too much pressure on his left foot. He was super active after he recovered a bit and I had a hard time sleeping that week, mainly because of him wanting to go out and chewing his cage and trying to make noise @_@ He's now back to his well-behaved self finally.
My SO reconfigured his tubes to make it easier for him to climb and avoid falls. We also removed the things he could climb that seem too high. Hopefully we'll avoid accidents like this in the future.

Yay! That's such fantastic news, I'm so happy for you It's brilliant that you're adapting his cage to his needs so he won't manage to hurt himself again!!

That's great news about your hammie back on his wheel, so glad he's better!
A big relief for yourself too!

It is wonderful that your little one is okay now. They scare us when things like this happen. What's his name, by the way?

His name is BB, he's our first hamster together. We treat him like our little boy
