I'm not saying it's bad I'm just not very impressed by the ingredients tbh, overall protein content is a little low, fat's quite low & fibre is really high.
Didnt know that about gerbils and hamsters, makes sense. Will try some harry hamster next time.

By the way, anyone gives your hams mineral licks? My first one never seemed to care about it, so I am not bothering. Should I? :/

None of mine have ever taken much notice of mineral licks so I don't bother now either, I don't think they really need them tbh.

I give my hamsters Harry Hamster Mix. Apart from the black logs they seem to go well. I also sometimes buy veggies (broccoli, carrots, cauliflower etc) and they seem to like that too

Yes, I thought that Cypher...phew...no mineral licks and clear consciousness...I think if the hamster's diet is complete they don't need any extras from artificial mineral licks.
Same as I don't feel good hamster mixes should be mixed further with other mixes if they are all already balanced properly. So I might just stick with Burgess Dwarf hamster mix and not mix any Harry Hamster in it. I know some people like to do so and that's fine too if it suits them.
